Her love for underground music lead her to produce and present a House & Techno Radio show, there she was able to make use of the Studio equipment and she taught herself to spin.
Always trying to encompass elements of nostalgia into her sets. Her aim is to move people with her music.The past 6 years have seen her go from strength to strength earning her stripes in 2013 playing for ‘Housewife London‘ and other underground parties including ‘Sub:terranea‘, ‘Schwein & Badornment‘, ‘Limit UK‘, ‘Get Together‘, ‘System & Set One Twenty‘.
Playing alongside Cinthie (Beste Modus), D’julz (Bass Culture), Stuart Hawkins (Fuse), Annie Errez (System) and more recently Ida Engberg (Drumcode) & Politics of Dancing, 2018 was her lucky year having already played at MiNT Warehouse – Dirty Disco, alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, Derrick Carter, Jasper James, Lone & Big Miz. She also played her first ever festival set at MiNT Festival, not to mention her MiNT Club debut amongst other great line-ups, inc techno royalty, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, Molly and possibly her biggest gig to date closing for OCTAVE ONE at Sheaf St!
In June 2019 Karis is set to Play MiNT Festival again and the official Cocoon In The Park after party! She also celebrates the 3rd anniversary of her own club night ‘Whynot?‘. A party dedicated to Underground Music, celebrating and showcasing the new breed of talent coming through the scene.
